The Leica Absolute Laser Trackers are portable coordinate measuring machine (CMM) capable of taking large volume measurements in 3D or with 6DOF to sub millimetre accuracy. They are commonly used in industires where large volume, high accuracy is required such as the Aerospace and Automotive industries for tooling, reverse engineering, part mating & inspection applications.

Two models are available: The Leica Absolute Tracker AT403  can track the Leica B-Probe, a cost effective hand-held "walk around" wireless contact probe. Additionally the Leica Absolute Tracker AT960 can track the Leica T-Probe, a hand-held “walk-around” wireless contact probe with 6DoF capability. Both have the ability to use a corner cube relector for accurate, large volume 3D measurement. Contact free scanning is provided by the Leica T-Scan, a high-speed laser scanner. Which measurement method you should use, will depend on your application.
