Description
xNAV
Miniature dual antenna GNSS+inertial system that doesn't compromise on performance. Ideal for size and weight constrained survey applications.

Features
Small, compact, lightweight
Save fuel, extend flight times, and allow more payload capacity for other sensors. Weighing from 365 g even with its rugged IP65 casing, the xNAV is light enough to fit on many small and medium sized UAV platforms while still providing survey-grade accuracy.
No compromises
Despite its small form factor, the xNAV integrates high-grade MEMS inertial sensors and RTK capable GNSS receivers. This allows it to be economical on price and power but still deliver centimetre-level positioning and accurate roll, pitch, and heading that is required for surveying and mapping applications.
Maximising performance
When GNSS struggles, such as in urban canyons, under tree cover, or with obstructions like tunnels and bridges, the sensor fusion of the GNSS and IMU fills the gaps to provide a smooth output. Minimise position drift during outages with combined forwards/backwards processing in our free post-processing application NAVsolve. Add an odometer on land vehicles for reliable velocity updates in spite of GNSS conditions to help when stationary or slow moving. Ensure as much of your data as possible is within spec with our gx/ix™ tight-coupling technology, which speeds up RTK reacquisition and maintains RTK level performance even in high multipath environments and poor satellite visibility.
Simple integration
Tested and supported integrations with a range of imaging sensors, including LiDAR from Riegl, Velodyne, Z+F, hyperspectral sensors from Specim, cameras from Phase One, Point Grey, and more. Take advantage of accurate GNSS time and be confident the xNAV gives the interfaces needs you synchronise and georeference your sensor.
Increase productivity
Spend more time collecting relevant data. Eliminate the necessity to survey ground control points (GCPs) and cover a wider area by reducing the amount of sidelap required. The high performance IMU integrated in the xNAV systems allow you to perform direct georeferencing from the air, and the trajectory can be exported for use in LiDAR and photogrammetry software. Thanks to advanced temperature calibration, the system is fully optimised after just a few minutes warm-up.
Dual GNSS true heading
The integrated dual receivers ensure an accurate and robust heading measurement. It will remain stable when the vehicle is stationary, hovering in place and in low dynamics and is not affected by magnetic interference. The dual antenna setup also allows you to initialise statically, meaning the xNAV can start outputting and logging data before your vehicle starts moving or takes off.
