The SR60 steering robot meets the speed and torque requirements suggested by NHTSA for steering machines that are appropriate for running the test.
Using ABD's Driverless Test System it is possible for customers to run the FMVSS126 without a driver in the vehicle.
The robot controller software now has an FMVSS-126 testing module option which guides the user through performing the tests upon a vehicle to the NHTSA standard.
